THE CLOCKWORK MOTH
We began creating shadow puppets in 2006 - they were a happy blend of two of our loves, performance and illustration. Being flat, they are essentially live animations and the shadow screen fulfils a similar role to the cinema screen. We often work with live musicians, and a live narrator, which give an extra dimension to the work. Below is a gallery of some previous work and below that a few videos of the shows themselves - more can be found on our youtube channel, including the outcomes of a range of shadow-puppetry workshops.
